The "BLING" Finds a New Genre

It is the most socially elite that are targeted to buy diamonds in order to
adorn themselves with the "bling". It is the twist of a hand or the sun
hitting the chest or face that lights up the body of the wearer. It can
ignite a strange passion within the possessor that is replicated by few things.
The sparkle, the clarity, the pureness of color transforms the stone into a
heavenly object that seems to float within its setting, making all else pale
next to it.
Diamonds were first discovered approximately 4000 years ago in the Golconda
riverbeds of India. The foremost producer of diamonds today is Africa,
followed by Canada, Brazil, the Soviet Union, the United States, Australia, and
India.
It has been documented several times that diamonds were originally used as
charms to ward off evil spirits, nightmares and disease. Some of the first
diamonds found archaeologically were in a pouch thought to be that of an African
Shaman.
The Hope diamond and its curse originated from a Hindu statue said to have
used an 800-carat diamond as an adornment at the third-eye chakra site.
Today, the Hope diamond is only a fracture piece of the original stone.
Most married couples in America share wedding bands adorned with diamonds.
White diamonds are chosen for their representation of chastity, innocence, and
pureness of heart.
The purest, most colorless diamonds are also the most rare. These are
among the special gemstones used in Diamond Therapy©.

The following is the story of how Diamond Therapy© found its way into
Hollywood -- as told by Magnolia Polley, creator of the Diamond Therapy©
protocol.
"In February 2004 I received an
invitation to participate in an Oscar's week celebration hosted by the world
famous Debeer's diamond company. I began a frenzied search for information
about diamonds -- the science and the cultural history. The results
inspired my development of a diamond therapy that was to become the spotlight
during Oscar's week.
Among my goals was to have a
beautiful treatment that would well represent the healing arts community, the
Debeer's diamond exhibit, and myself with integrity. Although I was
informed that the D.I.C. was working on bringing together a selection of rare
colored diamonds from around the world, I had no idea what we were in for.
On arrival my group was greeted
by security guards and eight extraordinary colored diamonds weighing in at
around 40 carats and $6 million. The experience of being able to go from
my humble job as a body worker to becoming the trustee of a package like this
was mind altering, to say the least. Recovery is still questionable.
Given the 'Oscar's Week' work
environment, I was unsure of what results could be achieved with my proposed
therapy. Security guards were no more than 5-feet away from me at all
times; and only a curtain separated my clients, the diamonds and myself from the
outside world.
None-the-less, the crowd was
enthralled -- interested in both the stones and the treatment. And I am
pleased to report that the results were amazing to everyone who was involved.
Amid all the commotion of cameras flashing, television prop crews arranging,
security guards lurking, and the endless voices telling me to 'hurry it up' and
get on to the next excited guest, I was blown away by the results.
Celebrities, agents, producers,
designers, and journalists were falling asleep, having out of body experiences,
shedding tears, and transforming before my eyes. I was grateful for each
new experience and the willingness of those involved to let go of all the
commotion of the week and find a quiet space for rejuvenation and rest to take
place.
The experience was inspiring.
Within months of the Oscars show, the Discovery Channel expressed interest in
doing a follow-up presentation to be aired on 'Fit Nation' with Gina Lombardi.
Once again, the diamonds I never thought I'd see again were in my hands and
ready to be used as a tool for healing. It was then that I knew I must
pursue the potential of diamond therapy.
Today my goal is to bring the
Diamond Therapy© technique to others so that it can be used in the spa
world, in the healing community, and by individuals that are interested or drawn
to it."
